When walking around the town, the first to checkout is the food. Since Kuala Pilah is form by multi racial citizen, it is recommended to try everything while here but watch out for the spicy food. Then, spent some time at the village area which is not far (nearest village just 2KM away). In here visitor can experience and learn what the village life is all about from fishing, gardening and farming environmentally surrounded by nature. Moreover, in village area there are also many hidden small rapids that surely will amaze everyone.
As in Kuala Pilah, the main local economics contribution goes to farming. Going around the village, almost every house is armed with specialized area for gardening plant and even goat and cow fold in some village house. Other activity includes rubber tapping and plucking palm oil at certain side, a programme developed by the FELDA in order to increase the villager income.
For accommodation, one need to put extra effort to find hotels in Kuala Pilah. However, there are classic rest houses that have been improved to cater the growing number of visitor to the town. Transportation also looks very convenient. Visitor can take either taxi or bus to go and hangout at the village area or also can use it to get to know the town from the bus station. Alert with ‘Prebet Sapu’, another type of taxi which is non illegal transportation that will not covered protection to the passenger in case of accident and injury while travelling with it.
Getting There
There are various type of transportation that can be use to arrive here. If by bus, the bus can be taken at Kotaraya and Titiwangsa bus station in Kuala Lumpur. Another way is travelling by car.
